Privacy Policy v1.1, effective 2026-05-04. This policy is under reviewed periodically with counsel. Privacy questions to privacy@cddstream.com.

1. Data controller

The data controller for CDDStream is JeLe Ventures LLC.

2. What we collect

• Questions you type. Each question and the AI-generated response are logged for quality auditing, citation verification, and product improvement.
• An anonymous session identifier. A random UUID stored in a cookie. It is not linked to your name, email, or address.
• Standard web analytics. Page views, referrer, browser type, approximate location (city-level). Collected via Vercel Analytics. No cross-site tracking.

CDD records are public records under Florida Chapter 119. CDDStream does not require residency verification. We do not collect your name, street address, or any identifying information to use the chat assistant.

3. What we do NOT collect

• Your name or email address (unless you email us directly).
• Your street address or property information.
• Resident contact information from district records.

4. How we use data

• To answer your questions with cited passages from district documents and Florida statutes.
• To monitor answer quality and catch errors.
• To improve retrieval accuracy and citation grounding.
• To track API costs per district for billing.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your questions to train AI models. Questions and answers are retained for the audit log and quality improvement purposes only.

5. Sub-processors

• Anthropic (AI model provider): processes your question to generate an answer. Subject to Anthropic’s commercial API data policy (no training on API inputs).
• Voyage AI (embedding provider): converts your question into a vector for document search. No PII transmitted.
• Supabase (database): stores questions, answers, and audit logs. Hosted in US regions.
• Vercel (hosting + analytics): serves the web application and collects anonymous analytics.
• Railway (backend hosting): runs the API server.

6. Retention

Question-and-answer audit logs are retained for 3 years, then deleted. Anonymous session cookies expire after 30 days of inactivity. You may clear your browser cookies at any time.

7. Your rights

To request deletion of data associated with your session ID, or to ask what data we hold, email privacy@cddstream.com.
